Dayakrea and Ekraf Forge Strategic Collaboration Ahead of the World Conference on Creative Economy 2026
Jakarta, Indonesia — The first steps toward a landmark partnership began in November 2025, when Dayakrea and Kementerian Ekonomi Kreatif held their inaugural meeting to explore potential synergies within Indonesia’s rapidly evolving creative landscape. That initial discussion set the tone for a dynamic collaboration—one rooted in shared mission, cultural empowerment, and sustainable creative innovation.
From that first meeting, both organizations recognized strong alignment in vision: strengthening Indonesia’s creative economy ecosystem, elevating local talent, and expanding global visibility for creative communities. The conversation naturally progressed into ongoing discussions that have continued ever since.
Throughout the months that followed, Dayakrea and Ekraf conducted a series of follow-up meetings, each one refining the structure of a partnership aimed at contributing to one of the world’s most significant creative economy gatherings, the World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) 2026.
These follow-up sessions have focused on:
Participation in WCCE’s Creative Village
Collaborative Programming
Cross-over creative event programs to be hosted by Kult Kreo
Joint Initiatives on Empowerment, Innovation & IP
International Opportunities for Regional Creatives
Both Dayakrea and Ekraf are committed to opening pathways for regional creative actors, from independent creators to community-based innovators, to participate in international platforms, ensuring wider representation of Indonesia’s diverse creative identities.
As preparations for WCCE 2026 intensify, Dayakrea and Ekraf are positioning themselves as key contributors, bringing together cultural heritage, contemporary creativity, and strategic economic vision.
The collaboration represents more than a partnership; it symbolizes a growing movement within Indonesia’s creative economy: bridging tradition with innovation, and ensuring local creative voices are represented on a world stage.
Both organizations are committed to continuing their coordination in the coming months as they finalize joint contributions for WCCE 2026.
